
Reverend Jerry James Ronk, age 77, of Noblesville, Indiana crossed over into Heaven on August 1st, 2016. Jerry was born to Mae and Jesse Ronk in Newark, Ohio on April 21, 1939. He grew up in Akron, Ohio and proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Jerry married his sweetheart, Illona (Loni) Johnson on June 13, 1970. Jerry retired from Ford Motor Company after 42 years of service. He and his wife proudly pastored Faith Tabernacle Church in Youngstown, Ohio for 15 years. Jerry was preceded in death by: his mother, Mae; father, Jesse; brother, John; baby sister, Patricia; and his infant twins, James William and Theresa Ann. His legacy lives on in his wife, Loni; children, Jonathan (Yvonne) Ronk and Lisa (Michael) Duell; Grandchildren, Brittany, Kasey, Zachary, Lauren, Emma and Jonathan; and his “brothers and sister,” Bob Mann, and Krishna and Chandra Krishnamurthy. He was also warmly referred to as “Tata” (Grandpa) by Krishna and Sadhana Sethuraman, and loved as “Uncle” by his many close friends of India. He also leaves behind nieces, nephews, and many other close loved ones, including his cousins whom he cherished, and his beloved puppy, Maxx. A Victory Celebration honoring his life will be held at New Life Assembly of God Church on Saturday, August 13th at 5:30 p.m. The church address is 698 North 10th Street, Noblesville, Indiana.
